On September 21 Tobago International Academy celebrated International Day of Peace with the Tobago Chapter of Junior Chamber International (JCI) and Learning About Forest (L.E.A.F) nonprofit group by planting trees in the schoolyard. Secretary of Instructure, Quarries and the Environment in the Tobago House of Assembly, Councillor Kwesi Des Vignes was on hand to lend assistance to the children as they planted a cherry tree.

The students enjoyed getting their hands dirty and learning about how they can contribute to the preservation of the environment.
